About
One of Australia's most provocative and world-renowned contemporary art museums, perched on a peninsula accessible by ferry from Hobart. MONA houses over 2,000 works spanning ancient to bleeding-edge contemporary art in a labyrinthine underground space carved from sandstone. Free entry for all Tasmanians and Australian children under 18. Older kids and teens love the 'O' audio guide app which lets them react and explore at their own pace. Ferries depart from Brooke Street Pier.
