The Adelaide International Bird Sanctuary National Park covers 60km of coastline north of Adelaide and is internationally recognised for its importance to migratory shorebirds travelling the East Asian-Australasian Flyway. Free walking trails, boardwalks, and viewing platforms make it accessible for all ages. The visitor experience is best from August to April when thousands of wading birds arrive from as far as Siberia and Alaska. Guided walks are occasionally offered. Bring binoculars!
