Indo Pacific Marine in Darwin is a unique attraction housing one of the world's only self-sustaining living coral reef ecosystems on display. The tanks are teeming with tropical fish, corals, sea horses, and other marine life with no external filtration — the reef supports itself. Daytime admission is affordable for families, but the highlight is the evening Coral Reef by Night tour, complete with a seafood dinner and guided exploration of the nocturnal reef (booking required for night tours).
